UPESSC Principal Recruitment 2026: Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj has released a recruitment notification for filling up vacant posts of Principal vide Advt. No. 02/2026. Eligible candidates can apply online from 21.07.2026 to 20.08.2026 using given link below. Name of the Post: Principal
Age Limit (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates): (Maximum 62 years as on 01.07.2026): Born not earlier than 02.07.1964.
Qualification: Ph.D. Degree + 15 years Teaching / Research experience as Associate Professor / Professor + Minimum 10 Research Publications in Peer-Reviewed / UGC-listed journals and Minimum Research score of 110 as per Table 2 in Notification.
Fees: Rs. 3000/- for All candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Principal in UPSC Recruitment 2026 are given below:
- Written Test (360 Marks / 120 Objective Questions)
- Research Score Verification (110 Research Marks)
- Interview (40 Marks)
- Medical Examination
- Document Verification
Pay Scale: Level-14 (Rs. 144200 to Rs. 218200/-)
