CAPF Recruitment 2024: Border Security Force (BSF) has released a recruitment notification for filling up 1760 posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) and Head Constable (Ministerial) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), INDO – Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) vide Advt. No. Combatant_05/2024. Eligible candidates can apply online from 09.06.2024 to 08.07.2024 using given link below. Name of the Post: Head Constable (Ministerial)

Age Limit (18 to 25 years as on 01.08.2024):

• For General / EWS: Born not earlier than 02.07.1999 and not later than 01.07.2006. (both dates inclusive)
• For OBC: Born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2006. (both dates inclusive)
• For SC / ST: Born not earlier than 02.07.1994 and not later than 01.07.2006. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

• For Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer): Intermediate (10+2) Passed and should have Shorthand @ 80 w.p.m in English / in Hindi in 10 minutes. Transcription of dictation in English in 50 minutes / Hindi in 65 minutes on computer.
• For Head Constable (Ministerial): Intermediate (10+2) Passed and should have 35 w.p.m typing speed in English / 30 w.p.m in Hindi

Physical Eligibility:

• For Male Candidate:
  • Height: 165 Cms.
  • Chest: 77 to 82 Cms
  • Race: 1.6 Kms in 06 minutes and 30 seconds
• For Female Candidate:
  • Height: 155 Cms
  • Race: 800 meter in 04 minutes and 45 seconds

Fees: Rs. 147.20/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and Rs. 47.20/- for SC / ST / PwD / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Head Constable and ASI through CAPF Recruitment 2024 are given below:

• Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Skill Test, Documents Verification and Medical Examination

Pay Scale: 

• For Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer): Rs. 29200 – Rs. 92300/-
• For Head Constable (Ministerial): Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100/-
