UPSC Principal and Vice Principal Recruitment 2026: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a recruitment notification for filling up vacant posts of Principal and Vice Principal vide Advt. Age Limit (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates):
- For Principal (18 to 50 years as on 14.08.2026): Born not earlier than 15.08.1976 and not later than 14.08.2008. (both dates inclusive)
- For Vice Principal (18 to 35 years as on 14.08.2026): Born not earlier than 15.08.1991 and not later than 14.08.2008. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification:
- For Principal: Master Degree + B.Ed + 10 years experience as TGT / PGT.
- For Vice Principal: Master Degree + B.Ed + 02 years experience as PGT / 03 years experience as TGT.
Fees: Rs. 25/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and There is no fee for SC / ST / PwD / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Principal and Vice Principal in UPSC Recruitment 2026 are given below:
- Written Test and / or Interview
- Medical Examination
- Document Verification
