Type of Exam: Eligibility Test to Become 3rd Grade Teacher in Rajasthan

Name of the Exam: Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET / RTET)

Name of the Level:

  1. Level-I (Class I to V): Primary Teacher (PRT)
  2. Level-II: (Class VI to VIII): Trained Graduated Teacher (TGT)

Age Limit: No Age Limit

Qualification: 

For Level – I (PRT) Class I to V
Senior Secondary (12th) passed with 50% marks and Passed / Appearing Final Year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education
Senior Secondary (12th) passed with 45% marks and Passed 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulation, 2002
Senior Secondary (12th) passed with 50% marks with Passed / Appearing Final Year of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
Senior Secondary (12th) passed with 50% marks and Passed / Appearing Final Year of 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
Bachelor Degree with 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
For Level – II (TGT) Class VI to VIII
Graduation with Passed / Appearing Final Year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
Graduation / Post Graduation with 50% marks and Passed / Appearing B.Ed Degree
Graduation Degree with 45% marks and 1 year B.Ed. passed, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition, Norms, and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard
Senior Secondary (12th) passed with 50% marks and Passed / Appearing Final Year of 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
Senior Secondary (12th) passed with 50% marks and Passed / Appearing Final Year of 4 year B.A. / B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed
Graduation / Post Graduation with 50% marks and Passed / Appearing Final Year of B.Ed. (Special Education).

Level – I (PRT) Class I to V Exam Pattern

  • Negative Marking: No
  • Duration of Exam: 02:30 hours

Fees:

  • For Level – I or II (Single Level): Rs. 550/- for All candidates.

  • Fees should be paid through Online SBI Collect via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: Certificate will be awarded on the basis of performance in Written Examination.
