PGIMER Chandigarh Recruitment 2026:- Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh has released a recruitment notification for filling up 60 posts of MTS, Library Attendant, Animal Attendant, Barber and Various Post vide Advt. No. PGI/RC/053/2026/2192. Eligible candidates can apply online from 03.09.2026 to 19.10.2026 using given link below. - Library Attendant Grade – I: 01 Post
- Animal Attendant: 01 Post
- Barber: 01 Post
- MTS (Sanitation) Grade – III: 54 Posts
For PGI Satellite Centre, Sangrur, Punjab
- Medical Officer: 01 Post
- Computer Programmer: 01 Post
- Pharmacist Grade – II: 01 Post

Age Limit [Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates]:

For Computer Programmer (18 to 35 years as on 19.10.2026): Born not earlier than 20.10.1990 and not later than 19.10.2007. (both dates inclusive)
For Other Posts (18 to 30 years as on 19.10.2026): Born not earlier than 20.10.1995 and not later than 16.10.2007. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification:

For MTS (Sanitation) Grade – III: Matriculation (10th) passed.
For Barber: Matriculation (10th) passed + 2 years experience in the line.
For Animal Attendant: Matriculation (10th) passed.
For Library Attendant Grade – I: Diploma in Library Science + 1 year experience of Handling Books & Journals in Library & repute.
For Pharmacist Grade – II: Diploma in Pharmacy + Registered as Pharmacist
For Computer Programmer: Master Degree in Statistics / Mathematics (with Statistics) / Operation Research / Physics or Degree in Engineering / Computer Science with 1 year experience OR Bachelor Degree in Statistics / Mathematics (with Statistics) / Physics with 7 years experience
For Medical Officer: A medical qualification including in I or II Schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act + Registered with State Medical Council + Should have special training in Family Planning & Educational methods.

Fees: Rs. 1500/- for General / EWS / OBC candidates, Rs. 800/- for SC / ST candidates and There is no fees for PwBD candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
