NIOT Recruitment 2024:- National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) has released a notification for filling up 152 posts of Project Scientist, Project Scientist Assistant, Project Technician, Project Field Assistant, Project Junior Assistant, Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow and Junior Research Fellow vide Advt. No. NIOT/E&P/05/2024 (Project). Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online on or before 23.12.2024 upto – 05:30 p.m using given link below. - Project Scientist – III: 01 Post
- Project Scientist – II: 07 Posts
- Project Scientist – I: 34 Posts
- Project Scientist Assistant: 45 Posts
- Project Technician: 19 Posts
- Project Field Assistant: 10 Posts
- Project Junior Assistant: 12 Posts
- Research Associate: 06 Posts
- Senior Research Fellow: 13 Posts
- Junior Research Fellow: 05 Posts
Age Limit [Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates]:
- For Project Scientist – III [18 to 45 years as on 23.12.2024]: Born not earlier than 24.12.1979 and not later than 23.12.2006. (both dates inclusive)
- For Project Scientist – II [18 to 40 years as on 23.12.2024]: Born not earlier than 24.12.1984 and not later than 23.12.2006. (both dates inclusive)
- For Project Scientist – I [18 to 35 years as on 23.12.2024]: Born not earlier than 24.12.1989 and not later than 23.12.2006. (both dates inclusive)
- For Other Posts [18 to 50 years as on 23.12.2024]: Born not earlier than 24.12.1974 and not later than 23.12.2006. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification:
- For Project Scientist: Master Degree in relevant / Ph.D with Experience.
- For Project Scientific Assistant and Project Technician: Diploma / ITI with relevant experience.
- For Junior and Senior Research Fellow: Post Graduate or Graduate with NET / GATE Score.
Fees: Rs. 500/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and There is no fees for SC / ST / Female / PwD candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the post of Project Scientist, Project Scientist Assistant, Project Technician, Project Field Assistant, Project Junior Assistant, Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow and Junior Research Fellow in NIOT Recruitment 2024 are given below:
- Written Test and Trade Test (For Technical and Assistant Posts)
- Interview (For Project Scientist and Research Fellow)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Pay Scale:
- For Project Scientist – III: Rs. 78000/- + HRA
- For Project Scientist – II: Rs. 67000/- + HRA
- For Project Scientist – I: Rs. 56000/- + HRA
- For Project Scientific Assistant, Project Technician, Project Field Assistant and Project Junior Assistant: Rs. 20000/- + HRA
- For Research Associate: Rs. 58000/- + HRA
- For Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 42000/- + HRA
- For Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 37000/- + HRA
