India Post Sports Quota Recruitment 2023:- Department of Posts has released a recruitment notification for filling up 1899 posts of Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, Postman, Mail Guard and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) through Sports Quota vide Advt. No. W-17/55/2022-SPN-I. Eligible candidates can apply online from 10.11.2023 to 09.12.2023 using given link below. Other details like educational qualification, age limit, selection process & how to apply, pay scale are given below……

Total No. of the Posts: 1899

Name of the Posts: 

• Postal Assistant: 598 Posts
• Sorting Assistant: 143 Posts
• Postman: 585 Posts
• Mail Guard: 03 Posts
• Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): 570 Posts

Age Limit [Relaxations is applicable for reserved candidates]:

• For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) [18 to 25 years as on 09.12.2023]: Born not earlier than 10.12.1998 and not later than 09.12.2005. (both dates inclusive)
• For Other Posts [18 to 27 years as on 09.12.2023]: Born not earlier than 10.12.1996 and not later than 09.12.2005. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification:

• For Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant: Bachelor Degree in any stream + Sportsperson.
• For Postman: Intermediate (10+2) passed and should have valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV). Know the Local Language + Sportsperson
• For Mail Guard: Intermediate (10+2) passed. Know the Local Language + Sportsperson
• For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation (10th) passed + Sportsperson.

Fees: Rs. 100/- for General / OBC candidates and There is no fees for SC / ST / EWS / Female / EWS / Third Gender candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI. 

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, Postman, Mail Guard and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in India Post Sports Quota Recruitment 2023 are given below:

• Scrutiny of Applications

• Medical Examination 
• Final Merit List

Pay Scale: 

• For Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant: Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100/-
• For Postman and Mail Guard: Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100/-
• For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Rs. 18000 – Rs. 56900/-
