CSIR ASO Recruitment 2026:- Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has released a notification for filling up 100 posts of Assistant Section Officer (ASO) vide Advertisement No. E-I/RC/2026/2. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from 23.06.2026 to 13.07.2026 using given link below. - Assistant Section Officer (General): 61 Posts
- Assistant Section Officer (Finance & Accounts): 18 Posts
- Assistant Section Officer (Store & Purchase): 21 Posts
Age Limit: [18 to 33 years as on 13.07.2026]:
- For General / EWS: Born not earlier than 14.07.1993 and not later than 13.07.2008. (both dates inclusive)
- For OBC: Born not earlier than 14.07.1990 and not later than 13.07.2008. (both dates inclusive)
- For SC / ST: Born not earlier than 14.07.1988 and not later than 13.07.2008. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any stream + Must be a Non Recommended Candidates of Civil Service Examination 2024 (CSE-2024).
Fees: Rs. 500/- for General / EWS / OBC candidates and There is no fee for SC / ST / PwD / ExSm / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of ASO in CSIR Recruitment 2026 are given below:
- Shortlisting on the basis of UPSC CS marks
- Computer Proficiency Test
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
