Chandigarh SCDRC Recruitment 2026:- District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (SCDRC), U.T Chandigarh has released a recruitment notification for filling up vacanct posts of Clerk and Steno-Typist (English) vide Advt. No. 481. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply from 10.02.2026 to 02.03.2026 using given link below. Name of the Posts:
- Steno-Typist (English): 01 Post
- OBC: 01 Post
- Clerk: 05 Posts
- OBC: 03 Posts
- SC: 02 Posts
Age Limit (18 to 25 years as on 01.01.2026):
- For OBC: Born nor earlier than 02.01.1998 and not later than 01.01.2008. (both dates inclusive)
- For SC: Born nor earlier than 02.01.1993 and not later than 01.01.2008. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification:
- For Clerk: Bachelor Degree in any stream and should have 30 w.p.m in English + Computer Course.
- For Steno-Typist (English): Bachelor Degree in any stream and should have 80 w.p.m English Stenography speed and 20 w.p.m in transcripting the same
Fees: Rs. 800/- for OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the post of Clerk and Steno-Typist (English) in Chandigarh SCDRC Recruitment 2026 are given below:
- Written Test
- Computer Typing Test / Stenography Test
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
