CCRS Recruitment 2026:- Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS), Chennai has released a notification for filling up 06 posts of Social Worker, Upper Division Clerk (UDC) and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) vide Advt. No. 04/2026. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply in prescribed application format from 11.07.2026 to 09.09.2026 using given link below. Other details like educational qualification, age limit, selection process & how to apply, pay scale, physical eligibility are given below……

Name of the Posts: 

  • Social Worker: 01 Post
    • General: 01 Post
  • Upper Division Clerk (UDC): 02 Posts
    • General: 02 Posts
  • Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 03 Posts
    • General: 03 Posts

Age Limit: [Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates]:

  • For Social Worker (18 to 30 years as on 01.01.2026): Born not earlier than 02.01.1996 and not later than 01.01.2008. (both dates inclusive).
  • For Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Upper Division Clerk (UDC) [18 to 27 years as on 09.09.2026]: Born not earlier than 10.09.1999 and not later than 09.09.2008. (both dates inclusive).

Qualification: 

  • For Social Worker: Bachelor Degree + Diploma in Social Work OR Master’s in Sociology
  • For Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Graduate + 3 years experience.
  • For Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Intermediate (10+2) passed + 35 w.p.m typing speed in English / 30 w.p.m in Hindi or Tamil on Computer.

Fees: Rs. 300/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and There is no fees for SC / ST / PwD / Female candidate. Fees should be paid through Demand Draft (DD) in the favour of Central Council for Research in Siddha payable at Chennai.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Social Worker, Upper Division Clerk (UDC) and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in CCRS Recruitment 2026 are given below:

  • Written Test
  • Skill Test (Applicable for LDC post)
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination

Pay Scale: 

  • For Social Worker: Rs. 35400 – Rs. 112400/-
  • For Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100/-
  • For Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Rs. 19900 – Rs. 63200/-

How to Apply: Eligible / Interested candidates can apply in prescribed application format on or before 29.06.2026 along with self attested copies of testimonials. The applicants need to be sent their filled application form to The Director General, Central Council for Research in Siddha, Ministry of Ayush, GST Road, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai – 600047 through speed post only.
