Name of the Post: Constable (Tradesman)

Age Limit: [18 to 25 years old]

• For General / EWS: Born not earlier than 28.03.1998 and not later than 27.03.2005. (both dates inclusive)
• For OBC: Born not earlier than 28.03.1995 and not later than 27.03.2005. (both dates inclusive)
• For SC / ST: Born not earlier than 28.03.1993 and not later than 27.03.2005. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification:

• For Constable (Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Electrician, Pump Operator, Draughtsman, Upholster, Tinsmith): Matriculation (10th) passed with Certificate from ITI in relevant trade.
• For Constable (Washerman, Barber, Cobbler, Tailor, Sweeper, Mali, Khoji / Syce): Matriculation (10th) passed and must be proficient in respective trade.
• For Constable (Cook, Water Carrier, Waiter, Butcher): Matriculation (10th) passed with NSQF Course in Food Production / Kitchen.

Physical Eligibility:

• For Male Candidates:
  • Height: 167.5 cms (162.5 cms for SC / ST candidates)
  • Chest: 78 – 83 cms (76 – 81 cms for SC / ST)
  • Race: 05 Kms in 24 Minutes
• For Female Candidates:
  • Height: 157 cms (150 cms for SC / ST candidates)
  • Race: 1.6 Kms in 08 Minutes 30 Seconds

Fees: Rs. 147.20/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and Rs. 47.20/- for SC / ST / ExM / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Constable (Tradesman) in BSF Recruitment 2023 are given below:
