BSF Assistant and Deputy Commandant Recruitment 2024:- Directorate General Border Security Force has released a recruitment notification for 09 posts of Assistant Commandant (Electrical) and Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Deputy Commandant) in BSF Engineering Set Up and BSF Air Wing Departments of BSF vide Advt. No. A.8/Pers-Rectt/GP-A/Engg/BSF/2024. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from 18.05.2024 to 17.06.2024 using given link below. Name of the Posts: 

  • BSF Engineering Set UP: 02 Posts
    • Assistant Commandant (Electrical): 02 Posts
  • BSF Air Wing: 07 Posts
    • Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Deputy Commissioner): 07 Posts

Age Limit (18 to 35 years as on 16.06.2024): 

  • For General / EWS: Born not earlier than 19.06.1989 and not later than 18.06.2006. (both dates inclusive)
  • For OBC: Born not earlier than 19.06.1986 and not later than 18.06.2006. (both dates inclusive)
  • For SC / ST: Born not earlier than 19.06.1984 and not later than 18.06.2006. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification:

  • For Assistant Commandant (Electrical): Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • For Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Deputy Commandant): Graduate + License and Experience.

Physical Eligibility:

  • For Male:
    • Height: 165 Cms.
    • Chest: 81 – 86 Cms
  • For Female:
    • Height: 157 Cms

Fees: Rs. 147.20/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and Rs. 47.20/- fees for SC / ST / candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Assistant Commandant (Electrical) and Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Deputy Commandant) in BSF Engineering Set Up and BSF Air Wing Departments in BSF Recruitment 2024 are given below:

  • Written Exam
  • Physical Test
  • Skill Test (As per Posts)
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination

Pay Scale: 

  • For Assistant Commandant (Electrical): Rs. 56100 – Rs. 177500/-
  • For Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Deputy Commandant): Rs. 67700 – Rs. 208700/-/-
