Ship Building Centre Group C Recruitment 2026:- Ship Building Centre, Vishakhapatnam (A Work Centre under Ministry of Defence R&D) has released a recruitment notification for filling up 09 posts of Construction Assistant A (Fitter), Construction Handler (Electrician), Fire Engine Driver (OG) and Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG) vide Advt. No. 3201/2026. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply from 22.08.2026 to 14.09.2026 using given link below. Construction Assistant A (Fitter): 03 Posts
Construction Handler (Electrician): 02 Posts
Fire Engine Driver (OG): 03 Posts
Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG): 01 Post

Age Limit (18 to 27 years as on 14.09.2026):

For General / EWS: Born nor earlier than 15.09.1999 and not later than 14.09.2008. (both dates inclusive)
For OBC: Born nor earlier than 15.09.1996 and not later than 14.09.2008. (both dates inclusive)
For SC / ST: Born nor earlier than 15.09.1994 and not later than 14.09.2008. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification:

For Construction Assistant A (Fitter): Certificate from ITI in Fitter trade + 2 years experience.
For Construction Handler (Electrician): Certificate from ITI in Electrician trade.
For Fire Engine Driver (OG): Matriculation (10th) passed + Valid Driving License for Heavy Motor Vehicle + 3 years experience.
For Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG): Matriculation (10th) passed + Valid Driving License for Light Motor Vehicle + 3 years experience.

Fees: Rs. 200/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and There is no fees for SC / ST / PwBD candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
