Pune Income Tax Sports Quota Recruitment 2026:- Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Mumbai has released a notification for filling up 85 posts of Tax Assistant, Stenographer and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) under sport quota vide Advt. No. Pr.CCIT/Pune/SRC/Advt.2026-27. Eligible candidates can apply online from 15.08.2026 to 30.09.2026 using given link below. Total No. of the Posts: 85
Name of the Posts:
- Stenographer Grade – II: 06 Posts
- Tax Assistant: 40 Posts
- Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): 30 Posts
Age Limit: (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidate)
- For Stenographer and Tax Assistant (18 to 27 years as on 01.01.2026): Born not earlier than 02.01.1999 and not later than 01.01.2008. (both dates inclusive)
- For MTS (18 to 25 years as on 01.01.2026): Born not earlier than 02.01.2001 and not later than 01.01.2008. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification:
- For Tax Assistant: Bachelor Degree in any stream + Sportsman
- For MTS: Matriculation (10th) Passed + Sportsman
- For Stenographer Grade – II: Intermediate (10+2) Passed + Steno + Sportsman
Fees: Rs. 200/- for All candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Tax Assistant, Stenographer and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in Income Tax Pune Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 are given below:

Pay Scale:
- For Tax Assistant: Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100/-
- For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Rs. 18000 – Rs. 56900/-
- For Stenographer Grade – II: Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100/-
