Age Limit (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates):
- For Warrant Officer (18 to 25 years as on 01.07.2026): Born not earlier than 02.07.2001 and not later than 01.07.2008. (both dates inclusive)
- For Rifleman and Havildar (18 to 23 years as on 01.07.2026): Born not earlier than 02.07.2003 and not later than 01.07.2008. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification:
- For Warrant Officer (Cipher): Intermediate (10+2) Passed in Science with Physics, Mathematics, and English and 2-year ITI (NSQF Level 4 or above) in ICT / IT / Electronics Engg / Computer Science / Computer Engg / Electrical Engg / Instrumental Tech OR Bachelor Degree in Electronics / Information & Communication Technology.
- For Rifleman (Electrical Fitter Signal): Matriculation (10th) Passed with 2 years Technical Training from ITI OR 2/3 years Diploma in Electrical Engg / Electrician Power Distribution / Electrician / Instrumental Tech / Instrument Mechanic / Tech Power Electronic System / Tech Electronic System Design & Repair.
- For Rifleman (Lineman Field): Matriculation (10th) Passed with 2 years Technical Training from ITI OR 2/3 years Diploma in Electronics Engg / Electronics Mechanic / Electrical Engg / Electrician Power Distribution / Electrician / Instrumental Tech / Instrument Mechanic / Tech Power Electronic System / Tech Electronic System Design & Repair / Fibre to Home Tech / OFC Tech.
- For Rifleman (Armourer): Matriculation (10th) Passed with ITI in Welding trade.
- For Rifleman (Engineer Equipment Mechanic): Matriculation (10th) Passed with 2 years ITI in Power Electric Systems Mechanic / Mechanic Diesel OR 2/3 years Diploma in Engineer Equipment Mechanic.
- For Rifleman (Recovery Vehicle Mechanic): Matriculation (10th) Passed with 2 years ITI in Recovery Vehicle Mechanic AND a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) / Transport Vehicle Driving License OR 10th Passed with a valid HMV/Transport Vehicle Driving License.
- For Rifleman (Electrician Motor Vehicle): Matriculation (10th) Passed with 2 years ITI OR 2/3 years Diploma in Electrician / Electrical Engg / Technical / Power Electronics / Communication System.
- For Havildar (Instrument Mechanic): Matriculation (10th) Passed with 2 years ITI OR 2/3 years Diploma in Instrument Mechanic / Technology / Electronic Mechanic / Technology.
- For Rifleman (Metalsmith): Matriculation (10th) Passed with 2 years ITI OR 2/3 years Diploma in Metalsmith / Metallurgy.
- For Rifleman (Upholster): Matriculation (10th) Passed with 2 years ITI OR 2/3 years Diploma in Upholster trade.
- For Rifleman Store Keeper Technical (EME): Matriculation (10th) Passed.
- For Rifleman (Vehicle Mechanic): Matriculation (10th) Passed with minimum 2 years ITI OR 2/3 years Diploma in Mechanic Motor Vehicle / Mechanic / Mechanic Diesel / Fitter / Mechanic Engg Tech / Automobile Engg.
- For Rifleman (Welder): Matriculation (10th) Passed with 2 years ITI OR Diploma in Welder / Metallurgy.
- For Warrant Officer (Draughtsman): Matriculation (10th) Passed and 3 years Diploma in Architectural Assistantship.
- For Warrant Officer (Operation Theatre Technician): Intermediate (10+2) passed and Minimum 2 years Diploma in Operation Theatre Technician and Minimum 1 year work experience as OT Technician from a minimum 50-bedded recognized Hospital.
- For Warrant Officer (Physiotherapist): Intermediate (10+2) passed and Minimum 2 years Diploma in Physiotherapy and Minimum 1 year work experience as Physiotherapist from a minimum 50-bedded recognized Hospital / Physiotherapy Centre.
- For Rifleman (Mason): Matriculation (10th) Passed and Must qualify Trade Test and Self-certification/undertaking regarding 1 year work experience in trade.
Fees: Rs. 100/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and There is no fee for SC / ST / ESM candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Technical and Tradesman in Assam Rifle Recruitment 2026 are given below:
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Skill / Trade Test
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
