RRB Technician Recruitment 2026:- Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a recruitment notification for filling up 6557 post of Technician vide Advt. No. CET 02/2026. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from 30.06.2026 to 29.07.2026 using given link below. Other details like educational qualification, age limit, selection process & how to apply are given below……

Name of the Posts:
- Technician Grade – I (Signal): 323 Posts
- Technician Grade – III: 6234 Posts
Age Limit: (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates)
- For Technician Grade – I (Signal) [18 to 33 years as on 01.07.2026]: Born not earlier than 02.07.1993 and not later than 01.07.2008. (both date inclusive)
- For Technician Grade – III (18 to 30 years as on 01.07.2026): Born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2008. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification:
- For Technician Grade – I (Signal): B.Sc in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / IT / Instrumentation or B.Sc in Combination of any sub stream of basic stream of Physics / Electronics / CS / IT / Instrumentation OR Degree / Diploma in Engineering.
- For Technician Grade – III: Matriculation (10th) passed with Certificate from ITI in relevant trade.
Fees: Rs. 500/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and Rs. 250/- fee for SC / ST / EBC / ESM / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Fees Refund Policy:
- For General /OBC / EWS: Rs. 400/- will be refunded after giving 1st stage test.
- For SC / ST / Female / EsM / PwD: Rs. 250/- will be refunded after giving 1st stage test.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Technician in RRB Recruitment 2026 are given below:
- Written Test (CBT)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
