SSC CHTE – JHT, SHT, JTO Recruitment 2026:- Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a JTO, Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator Examination, 2026 notification for filling up in Various Departments. Age Limit [18 to 30 years as on 01.08.2026]:
- For General / EWS: Born not earlier than 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2008. (both dates inclusive)
- For OBC: Born not earlier than 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2008. (both dates inclusive)
- For SC / ST: Born not earlier than 02.08.1991 and not later than 01.08.2008. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification: Master Degree in Hindi with English as a Compulsory Subject / Elective Subject. Diploma / Certificate Course in Translation Hindi to English & Vice-Versa OR 2 years experience of Translation Hindi to English & Vice-Versa from Central / State Govt. Office / Undertaking.
Fees: Rs. 100/- for General /OBC / EWS and There is no fee for SC / ST / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of JTO, Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator Examination, 2026 in SSC Recruitment 2024 are given below:
- Computer Based Test (CBT) – Tier-I
- Descriptive Type Test [Translation & Essay] – Tier-II
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Pay Scale:
- For Senior Hindi Translator (SHT): Rs. 44900 – Rs. 142400/-
- For Other Posts: Rs. 35400 – Rs. 112400/-
