West Bengal Sikkim Income Tax Recruitment 2026:- Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, West Bengal & Sikkim, Kolkata has released a notification for filling up 82 posts of Tax Assistant and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) under sport quota vide Advt. No. PCCIT/WB&S/Pers./58/Sports Rec/2025-26 (Pt-II)/10237. Eligible candidates can apply online from 27.08.2026 to 30.09.2026 using given link below. Other details like educational qualification, age limit, selection process & how to apply are given below……

Total No. of the Posts: 84

Name of the Posts:

• Tax Assistant: 25 Posts
• Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): 47 Posts

Age Limit: (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidate)

• For Tax Assistant (18 to 27 years as on 01.07.2026): Born not earlier than 02.07.1999 and not later than 01.07.2008. (both dates inclusive)
• For MTS (18 to 25 years as on 01.08.2026): Born not earlier than 02.07.2001 and not later than 01.07.2008. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

• For Tax Assistant: Bachelor Degree in any stream + Sportsman
• For MTS: Matriculation (10th) Passed + Sportsman

Fees: There is no application fees for all applicants.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Tax Assistant, Stenographer and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in West Bengal Sikkim Income Tax Recruitment 2026 are given below:

• Scrutiny of Applications
• Sports Trials / Physical Test
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

Pay Scale:

• For Tax Assistant: Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100/-
• For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Rs. 18000 – Rs. 56900/-
