Name of the Exam: Indian Economics Service / Indian Statistical Service Examination 2023

Name of the Posts:

• Indian Economics Service (IES): 18 Posts
• Indian Statistical Service (ISS): 33 Posts

Age Limit: 

• For General / EWS: Born not earlier than 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2002. (both dates inclusive)
• For OBC: Born not earlier than 02.08.1990 and not later than 01.08.2002. (both dates inclusive)
• For SC / ST: Born not earlier than 02.08.1988 and not later than 01.08.2002. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

• For Indian Economics Service (IES): Master Degree in Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics / Econometrics.
• For Indian Statistical Service (ISS): Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics as one of the subjects or a Master’s degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics.

Fees: Rs. 200/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates. There is no fee for SC / ST / PwD / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Indian Economics Service / Indian Statistical Service Examination 2023 through UPSC 2023 are given below:

• Written Test (1000 Marks)
• Interview (200 Marks)
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination
