UPSC CAPF AC Recruitment 2026: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a recruitment notification for filling up vacant posts of Assistant Commandants in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), INDO – Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) vide Advt. Age Limit (20 to 25 years as on 01.08.2026):
- For General / EWS: Born not earlier than 02.08.2001 and not later than 01.08.2006. (both dates inclusive)
- For OBC: Born not earlier than 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2006. (both dates inclusive)
- For SC / ST: Born not earlier than 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2006. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification: Appearing / Passed Bachelor Degree in any Stream / Discipline.
Fees: Rs. 200/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates. There is no fee for SC / ST / PwD / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of CAPF Assistant Commandant through UPSC Recruitment 2026 are given below:
- Written Test (450 Marks) [Paper – I: 250 Marks + Paper – II: 200 Marks]
- Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Medical Examination
- Personality Test / Interview (150 Marks)
- Merit List (Out of 600 Marks)
