SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2023:- Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification for filling up 1226 posts of Stenographer Grade C & D Examination 2023 in Various Department vide Advt. No. Steno 2023. Eligible candidates can apply online from 02.08.2023 to 23.08.2023 upto – 11:00 P.M using given link below. Age Limit:
- Stenographer Grade C: [18 to 30 years]
- For General / EWS: Born not earlier than 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2005. (both dates inclusive)
- For OBC: Born not earlier than 02.08.1990 and not later than 01.08.2005. (both dates inclusive)
- For SC / ST: Born not earlier than 02.08.1988 and not later than 01.08.2005. (both dates inclusive)
- Stenographer Grade D: [18 to 27 years]
- For General / EWS: Born not earlier than 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2005. (both dates inclusive)
- For OBC: Born not earlier than 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2005. (both dates inclusive)
- For SC / ST: Born not earlier than 02.08.1991 and not later than 01.08.2005. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification:
- For Stenographer Grade C: Intermediate (12th) Passed. Transcription 40 w.p.m in English and 55 w.p.m in Hindi. Dictation (English / Hindi) 10 Minutes 100 w.p.m
- For Stenographer Grade D: Intermediate (12th) Passed. Transcription 50 w.p.m in English and 65 w.p.m in Hindi. Dictation (English / Hindi) 10 Minutes 80 w.p.m
Fees: Rs. 100/- for General /OBC / EWS and There is no fee for SC / ST / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Stenographer Grade C & D Examination 2023 in SSC Recruitment 2023 are given below:

SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2023 Skill Test Pattern
- One Dictation for 10 Minutes in English or Hindi @100 wpm for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and @80 wpm for Stenographer Grade ‘D’
- The Matter will have to be transcribed on the computer as per the schedule given below.
