PSSSB Recruitment 2023:- Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board has released a recruitment notification for filling up 95 the posts of Lab Attendant, Lab Assistant, Library Assistant, Librarian, Librarian, Assistant Librarian, Proof Reader, Copy Holder, Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI), Upranger and Apiculture Officer vide Advt. No. 04 / 2023. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from 28.08.2023 to 22.09.2023 upto – 05:00 P.M using given link below.   • Lab Attendant: 27 Posts
  • Lab Assistant: 09 Posts
  • Library Assistant: 01 Post
  • Librarian: 01 Post
  • Assistant Librarian: 01 Post
  • Proof Reader: 02 Posts
  • Copy Holder: 01 Post
  • Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI): 23 Posts
  • Upranger: 05 Posts
  • Apiculture Officer: 25 Posts

Age Limit [18 to 37 years]: Born not earlier than 02.01.1986 and not later than 01.01.2005. (both dates inclusive) – [Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates]

Qualification: 

  • For Lab Attendant: Intermediate (10+2) passed with Science and should have Punjabi subject upto Matriculation (10th) Certificate.
  • For Lab Assistant: Bachelor Degree in Science (B.Sc) with any three subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology and should have Punjabi subject upto Matriculation (10th) Certificate.
  • For Library Assistant: Bachelor Degree in Library Science with Computer Course and 3 years experience.
  • For Librarian: B.Lib / B.Lib.Sci.
  • For Assistant Librarian: B.Lib / Master Degree in Library Science.
  • For Proof Reader and Copy Holder: Bachelor Degree with 1 year experience.
  • For Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI): Diploma in relevant trade.
  • For Upranger: B.Sc / B.Tech.
  • For Apiculture Officer: Bachelor Degree and should have Punjabi subject upto Matriculation (10th) Certificate.

Fees: Rs. 1000/- for General candidates, Rs. 250/- for SC / BC / EWS candidates, Rs. 200/- for ExSM & Dependents of ExSM candidates and Rs. 500/- for PwD candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Lab Attendant, Lab Assistant, Library Assistant, Librarian, Librarian, Assistant Librarian, Proof Reader, Copy Holder, Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI), Upranger and Apiculture Officer in PSSSB Recruitment are given below:

  • Written Test
  • Skill Test / Physical Test
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination
