  • Accountant: 129 Posts
  • Surveyor: 86 Posts
  • Forest Guard: 2138 Posts
  • Stenographer (HG): 13 Posts
  • Stenographer (LG): 23 Posts
  • Junior Engineer (Civil): 08 Posts
  • Senior Statistical Assistant: 05 Posts
  • Junior Statistical Assistant: 15 Posts

Age Limit:

  • For Accountant: Born not earlier than 01.07.1983 and not later than 30.06.2002. (both dates inclusive)
  • For Forest Guard: Born not earlier than 01.07.1996 and not later than 30.06.2005. (both dates inclusive)
  • For Other posts: Born not earlier than 01.07.1983 and not later than 30.06.2005. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

  • For Accountant: Bachelor Degree and should have knowledge of Marathi Language.
  • For Surveyor: Intermediate (10+2) passed and should have Surveyor Training Certificate.
  • For Forest Guard:
    • For General / OBC / EWS Candidates: Intermediate (10+2) passed with Science / Maths / Geography / Economics and should have knowledge of Marathi Language.
    • For ST / ExSm: Matriculation (10th) Passed.
  • For Stenographer (HG): Matriculation (10th) passed and should have 40 w.p.m typing speed in English / 30 w.p.m in Marathi along with 120 w.p.m Steno Speed. Should have knowledge of Marathi Language.
  • For Stenographer (LG): Matriculation (10th) passed and should have 40 w.p.m typing speed in English / 30 w.p.m in Marathi along with 100 w.p.m Steno Speed. Should have knowledge of Marathi Language.
  • For Junior Engineer (Civil): Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering and should have knowledge of Marathi Language.
  • For Senior Statistical Assistant: Master Degree in Mathematics / Agriculture / Economics / Commerce / Statistics with 50% marks and should have knowledge of Marathi Language.
  • For Junior Statistical Assistant: Bachelor Degree in Mathematics / Agriculture / Economics / Commerce / Statistics and should have knowledge of Marathi Language.

Fees: Rs. 1000/- for General candidates and Rs.900/- for Other Reserved candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Accountant, Surveyor, Forest Guard, Stenographer, Junior Engineer, Senior Statistical Assistant and Junior Statistical Assistant in Maharashtra Forest Department Recruitment 2023 are given below:

  • Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Physical Test (For Forest Guard)
  • Skill Test (If Required for some posts)
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination
