India Post GDS Recruitment 2026:- India Post has released a notification for filling up vacant posts of GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak) / Branch Post Master (BPM) / Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) in Various Circle. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from 31.01.2026 to 14.02.2026 Upto – 05:00 p.m using given link below. Other details like educational qualification, age limit, selection process & how to apply are given below……

Name of the Post: GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak) / Branch Post Master (BPM) / Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM)

Age Limit (18 to 40 years as on  16.02.2026):

• For General / EWS: Born not earlier than 17.02.1986 and not later than 16.02.2008. (both dates inclusive)
• For OBC: Born not earlier than 17.02.1983 and not later than 16.02.2008. (both dates inclusive)
• For SC / ST: Born not earlier than 17.02.1981 and not later than 16.02.2008. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: Matriculation (10th) Passed.

Fees: Rs. 100/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and There is no fee for SC / ST / Women / PwD candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak) / Branch Post Master (BPM) / Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) in Indian Post Recruitment 2026 are given below:

• Shortlisting of Candidates on the basis of 10th Class Marks
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

Pay Scale: 

• For BPM (Branch Post Manager): Rs. 12000 – Rs. 29380/-
• For ABPM (Assistant Branch Post Manager) / GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak): Rs. 10000 – Rs. 24470/-
