Income Tax Chennai Sports Quota Recruitment 2024:- Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Tamil Nadu & Puducherry has released a notification for filling up 33 posts of Income Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) under sport quota vide Advt. No. CC/26(5)/Estt/Sports/2024. Eligible candidates can apply online from 14.09.2024 to 05.10.2024 using given link below. Other details like educational qualification, age limit, selection process & how to apply are given below……

Total No. of the Posts: 33

Name of the Posts:

• Income Tax Inspector: 11 Posts
• Tax Assistant: 11 Posts
• Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): 11 Posts

Age Limit: (Relaxation is applicable)

• For Income Tax Inspector (18 to 30 years as on 01.01.2024): Born not earlier than 02.01.1994 and not later than 01.01.2006. (both dates inclusive)
• For Tax Assistant and MTS (18 to 27 years as on 01.01.2024): Born not earlier than 02.01.1997 and not later than 01.01.2006. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

• For Tax Assistant and Income Tax Inspector: Bachelor Degree in any stream + Sportsman
• For MTS: Matriculation (10th) Passed + Sportsman

Fees: There is no application fees for all applicants.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Tax Assistants, Income Tax Inspector, and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in Income Tax Chennai Sports Quota Recruitment 2024 are given below:

• Scrutiny of Applications
• Sports Trials / Physical Test
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

Pay Scale:

• For Income Tax Inspector: Rs. 9300 – Rs. 34800/- + Grade Pay: Rs. 4600/-
• For Tax Assistant: Rs. 5200 – Rs. 20200/- + Grade Pay: Rs. 2400/-
• For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Rs. 5200 – Rs. 20200/- + Grade Pay: Rs. 1800/-
