IIT, Kanpur Recruitment 2023:- Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur has released a recruitment notification for filling up 90 posts of Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Executive Engineer, Junior Assistant, Junior Technician & Various Post vide Advt. No. 01 / 2023. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from 15.09.2023 to 16.10.2023 using given link below. Age Limit: (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates)

  • For Registrar (Maximum 57 years): Born not earlier than 17.10.1966 and not later than 16.10.2005. (both dates inclusive)
  • For Deputy Registrar and Executive Engineer (21 to 50 years): Born not earlier than 17.10.1973 and not later than 16.10.2002. (both dates inclusive)
  • For Assistant Counselor, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Executive Engineer (Elec), Hall Management Officer, Medical Officer and Safety Officer (21 to 45 years): Born not earlier than 17.10.1978 and not later than 16.10.2002. (both dates inclusive)
  • For Junior Technical Superintendent, Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Technical Superintendent (Translation), Junior Safety Officer, Junior Superintendent and Senior Library Information Assistant (21 – 35 years): Born not earlier than 17.10.1988 and not later than 16.10.2002. (both dates inclusive)
  • For Junior Assistant, Junior Technician and Junior Assistant (Library) [21 to 30 years]: Born not earlier than 17.10.1993 and not later than 16.10.2002. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

  • For Junior Technical Superintendent: M.Sc / B.Tech / B.E with 2 years experience.
  • For Junior Engineer (Civil): Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with one year experience OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3 years experience.
  • For Junior Technical Superintendent (Translation): Master Degree with Hindi with English as a subject at Degree level with One year experience.
  • For Junior Safety Officer: Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Electrical / Chemical / Civil Engineering.
  • For Junior Superintendent: Master Degree in any stream with 5 year experience OR Bachelor Degree in any stream with 7 years experience.
  • For Senior Library Information Assistant: Bachelor Degree with Diploma in Library Science along with 2 years experience or One year Certificate in Computer Application.
  • For Junior Assistant: Bachelor Degree in any stream.
  • For Junior Technician: Degree / Diploma in Engineering in relevant trade.
  • For Junior Assistant (Library): Bachelor Degree in any stream.
  • For Other Posts: Please refer to official detail.

Fees: 

  • For Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Executive Engineer, Assistant Counselor, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Executive Engineer, Hall Management Officer, Medical Officer and Safety Officer: Rs. 1000/- for General / EWS / OBC candidates, Rs. 500/- for SC / ST candidates and There is no fees for Female / PwD candidates.
  • For Other Posts: Rs. 700/- for General / EWS / OBC candidates and There is no fees for SC / ST / PwD / Female candidates
  • Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Executive Engineer, Junior Assistant, Junior Technician & Various Post in IIT, Kanpur Recruitment 2023 are given below:

  • Written Test
  • Skill Test (If Required for Some Posts)
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination
