CUP Non Teaching Recruitment 2024:- Central University of Punjab (CUP) has released a recruitment notification for filling up 40 posts of Librarian, Cook, Driver, MTS, Laboratory Attendant, Library Attendant, UDC, Nursing Officer, Section Officer and Various Post vide Advt. No. CUPB/24-25/009. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from 05.11.2024 to 04.12.2024 Upto – 05:00 P.M using given link below. Age Limit (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidate): 

• For Librarian [18 to 57 years as on 04.12.2024]: Born not earlier than 05.12.1967 and not later than 04.12.2006. (both dates inclusive)
• For Deputy Librarian [18 to 55 years as on 04.12.2024]: Born not earlier than 05.12.1969 and not later than 04.12.2006. (both dates inclusive)
• For Internal Audit Officer [18 to 56 years as on 04.12.2024]: Born not earlier than 05.12.1968 and not later than 04.12.2006. (both dates inclusive)
• For Assistant Registrar [18 to 40 years as on 04.12.2024]: Born not earlier than 05.12.1984 and not later than 04.12.2006. (both dates inclusive)
• For Security Officer, Private Secretary, Estate Officer, Section Officer, Nursing Officer, Personal Assistant, Driver and Assistant [18 to 35 years as on 04.12.2024]: Born not earlier than 05.12.1989 and not later than 04.12.2006. (both dates inclusive)
• For Private Secretary (On Deputation) [18 to 56 years as on 04.12.2024]: Born not earlier than 05.12.1968 and not later than 04.12.2006. (both dates inclusive)
• For UDC, Cook and Laboratory Assistant [18 to 32 years as on 04.12.2024]: Born not earlier than 05.12.1992 and not later than 04.12.2006. (both dates inclusive)
• For LDC, MTS, Laboratory Attendant, Library Attendant [18 to 30 years as on 04.12.2024]: Born not earlier than 05.12.1994 and not later than 04.12.2006. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

• For Librarian: Master Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with 55% marks with 10 years experience. Evidence of innovative Library Services. Ph.D in Library Science / Documentation / Archives.
• For Assistant Registrar: Master Degree with 55% marks.
• For Security Officer: Bachelor Degree with 5 years experience in Police / Para-Medical forces / Armed Forces. should have valid Driving License for LMV.
• For Estate Officer: B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 55% marks and 5 years experience.
• For Section Officer: Bachelor Degree in any stream with 3 years experience.
• For Nursing Officer: B.Sc (Nursing) and Registered as Nurse with 2 years experience.
• For Personal Assistant: Bachelor Degree in any stream + Stenography.
• For Assistant: Bachelor Degree in any stream with 3 years experience. Should have 30 w.p.m typing speed.
• For UDC: Bachelor Degree in any stream with 3 years experience and should have 35 w.p.m typing speed in English / 30 w.p.m in Hindi.
• For Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor Degree in Science / Technology with 2 years working experience.
• For Lower Division Clerk: Intermediate (10+2) passed and should have 35 w.p.m typing speed in English / 30 w.p.m in Hindi.
• For Cook: Matriculation (10th) passed with 2 years experience. Certificate from ITI in Bakery and Confectionery.
• For Driver: Matriculation (10th) passed and should have valid driving license for Light / Medium / Heavy Vehicle Vehicle with 3 years experience.
• For MTS: Matriculation (10th) passed / ITI
• For Laboratory Attendant: Intermediate (10+2) passed with Science / Matriculation (10th) with Science as on of the subject and Two years experience in Laboratory.
• For Library Attendant: Intermediate (10+2) passed with Certificate in Library Science and One year experience.
• For Other Posts: Please refer to official detail.

Fees: Rs. 600/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and There is no fees for SC / ST / PwD / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Librarian, Cook, Driver, MTS, Laboratory Attendant, Library Attendant, UDC, Nursing Officer, Section Officer and Various Post in CUP Recruitment 2024 are given below:
