CSIR NEIST MTS and Driver Recruitment 2026:- Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) – North East Institute of Science and Technology (NEIST), Jorhat (Assam) has released a notification for filling up 10 posts of MTS and Driver vide Advertisement No. 01/2026-REC. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from 05.05.2026 to 04.06.2026 using given link below. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): 09 Posts
- General: 04 Posts
- EWS: 01 Post
- OBC: 02 Posts
- SC: 01 Post
- ST: 01 Post
Driver: 01 Post
- General: 01 Post

Age Limit: (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates)

For MTS (18 to 25 years as on 04.06.2026): Born not earlier than 05.06.2001 and not later than 04.06.2008. (both dates inclusive)
For Driver (18 to 27 years as on 04.06.2026): Born not earlier than 05.06.1999 and not later than 04.06.2008. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification:

For MTS: Matriculation (10th) passed
For Driver: Matriculation (10th) passed + Should have valid driving license for Light & Heavy Motor Vehicle (LMV & HMV) + 3 years experience.

Fees:- Rs. 500/- for General EWS / OBC candidates and There is no fees for for SC / ST / PwD / ExSm / Female / ExSm candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Document Verification
Medical Examination

Pay Scale:

For MTS: Rs. 34200/-
For Driver: Rs. 37600/-
