CSIR IITR MTS Driver Recruitment 2026:- CSIR – Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (IITR), Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) has released a notification for filling up 06 posts of MTS and Driver vide Advertisement No. IITR/1/2026. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from 20.01.2026 to 19.02.2026 Upto – 05:00 P.M. using given link below. Name of the Posts: 

• Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): 03 Posts
  • General: 02 Posts
  • OBC: 01 Post
• Driver: 03 Posts
  • General: 01 Post
  • EWS: 01 Post
  • SC: 01 Post

Age Limit: (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates)

• For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) [18 to 25 years as on 19.02.2026]: Born not earlier than 20.02.2001 and not later than 19.02.2008. (both dates inclusive)
• For Driver (18 to 27 years as on 19.02.2026): Born not earlier than 20.02.1999 and not later than 19.02.2008. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

• For MTS: Matriculation (10th) passed.
• For Driver: Matriculation (10th) passed + Should have valid driving license for Light & Heavy Motor Vehicle (LMV & HMV) + 3 years experience.

CSIR IITR MTS Recruitment 2026 Written Exam Pattern

• Negative Marking: 1/4
• Mode of the Exam: OMR Based Objective Type Multi Choice Question
• Total No. of the Questions: 150
• Duration of the Exam: 02 Hours

CSIR IITR Driver Recruitment 2026 Written Exam Pattern

• Negative Marking: 1/4
• Mode of the Exam: OMR Based Objective Type Multi Choice Question
• Total No. of the Questions: 100
• Duration of the Exam: 1.30 Hours

Fees: Rs. 500/- for General / EWS / OBC candidates and There is no fee for SC / ST / PwBD / ExSm / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
