Age Limit (18 to 27 years as on 26.04.2026):
- For General / EWS: Born nor earlier than 27.04.1999 and not later than 26.04.2008. (both dates inclusive)
- For OBC: Born nor earlier than 27.04.1996 and not later than 26.04.2008. (both dates inclusive)
- For SC: Born nor earlier than 27.04.1994 and not later than 26.04.2008. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification:
- For Clerk: Bachelor Degree in any stream. Should have knowledge of typing speed 35 w.p.m in English on Computer.
- For Steno Typist: Bachelor Degree in any stream. Should have knowledge of 80 w.p.m Stenography (English) and a speed of 20 w.p.m in transcription on Computer.
Fees: Rs. 1000/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC / ST / ExSM / PwBD candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the post of Clerk and Steno-Typist in Chandigarh Admin Recruitment 2026 are given below:
- Written Test
- Computer Typing Test / Stenography Test
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Pay Scale:
- For Clerk: Rs. 19900 – Rs. 63200/-
- For Steno-Typist: Rs. Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100/-
