Age Limit: [Relaxation is applicable for reserved for reserved candidates]

• For Sub Inspector (Master & Engine Driver): [22 to 28 years]: Born not earlier than 28.03.1995 and not later than 27.03.2001. (both dates inclusive)
• For Other Posts: [20 to 25 years]: Born not earlier than 27.03.1998 and not later than 27.03.2002. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification:

• For Sub Inspector (Master): Intermediate (10+2) passed and Master Certificate.
• For Sub Inspector (Engine Driver): Intermediate (10+2) passed and Engine Driver Certificate.
• For Sub Inspector (Workshop): Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Three years Diploma in Mechanical / Marine / Auto Mobile Engineering.
• For Head Constable (Master): Matriculation (10th) passed and Serang Certificate.
• For Head Constable (Engine Driver): Matriculation (10th) passed and Engine Driver.
• For Head Constable (Workshop): Matriculation (10th) passed and Certificate from ITI in Motor Mechanic (Diesel / Petrol Engine) / Machinist.
• For Constable (Crew): Matriculation (10th) passed and One year experience in Operation of Board below 265 HP and should know swimming in Deep Water..

Physical Eligibility:

• For Male Candidates:
  • Height: 165 cms
  • Chest: 75 – 80 Cms.
  • Weight: According to Height
  • One Mile Race: in 08 Minutes
  • High Jump: 03 Feet & 06 Inches in 03 Chances
  • Long Jump: 11 Feet in 03 Chances

Fees: 

• For SI (Master / Engine Driver / Workshop): Rs. 247.20/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and Rs. 47.20 fee for SC / ST / ExM / Female candidates.
• For HC (Master / Engine Driver / Workshop): Rs. 147.20/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and Rs. 47.20 fee for SC / ST / ExM / Female candidates.
• Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Sub Inspector, Head Constable & Constable in BSF Water Wing Recruitment 2023 are given below:

• Written Exam
• Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

Pay Scale: 

• For Sub Inspector’s: Rs. 35400 – Rs. 112400/-
• For Head Constable’s: Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100/-
• For Constable (Crew): Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100/-
