Age Limit (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates):
- For SI (Staff Nurse): [21 to 30 years as on 16.06.2024] Born not earlier than 17.06.1994 and not later than 16.06.2003. (both dates inclusive)
- For ASI (Lab Tech), Head Constable (Vet.) and Constable’s: [18 to 25 years as on 16.06.2024] Born not earlier than 17.06.1999 and not later than 16.06.2006. (both dates inclusive)
- For ASI (Physiotherapist) [20 to 47 years as on 16.06.2024]: Born not earlier than 17.06.1977 and not later than 16.06.2004. (both dates inclusive)
- For SI (Vehicle Mechanic) and Inspector (Librarian) [18 to 30 years as on 16.06.2024]: Born not earlier than 17.06.1994 and not later than 16.06.2006. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification:
- For SI (Staff Nurse): Degree / Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and should be registered as Nurse in State / Central Nursing Council.
- For ASI (Lab Technician): Intermediate (10+2) passed with Science Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and should be registered in State / Central council.
- For ASI (Physiotherapist): Diploma in Physiotherapy.
- For Sub Inspector (Vehicle Mechanic): Three years Diploma in Auto Mobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Auto Electrical Engineering.
- For Constable (OTRP / SKT / Fitter / Auto Electrician / Vehicle Mechanic / BSTS / Upholster): Matriculation (10th) passed and Certificate from ITI in relevant trade / Three years work experience in relevant trade.
- For Head Constable (Veterinary): Intermediate (10+2) passed with One year Veterinary Stock Assistant Course.
- For Constable (Kennelman): Matriculation (10th) passed with Two years experience.
- For Inspector (Librarian): Bachelor Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science. Two years experience.
Fees: Rs. 147.20/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and Rs. 47.20/- fees for SC / ST / candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Sub Inspector, Assistant Sub Inspector, Constable, Head Constable and Inspector Various Trade in Para Medical Staff, SMT Workshop, Veterinary Staff and Inspector Librarian Departments of BSF in BSF Recruitment 2024 are given below:

- For SI (Vehicle Mechanic): Rs. 35400 – Rs. 112400/-
- For Constable’s: Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100/-
- For Head Constable (Veterinary): Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100/-
- For Constable (Kennelman): Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100/-
- For Inspector (Librarian): Rs. 44900 – Rs. 142400/-
