BHU Non Teaching Recruitment 2026:- Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, U.P has released a recruitment notification for filling up 11 posts of Workshop Attendant, Laboratory Attendant, AC Operator, Computer Operator, System Engineer and Maintenance Engineer vide Advt. No. 03/2026-2027. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from 26.10.2026 to 25.11.2026 Upto – 05:00 P.M using given link below. Name of the Posts:
- Workshop Attendant: 02 Posts
- Laboratory Attendant: 01 Post
- AC Operator: 03 Posts
- Computer Operator Grade – I: 03 Posts
- System Engineer: 01 Post
- Maintenance Engineer (Junior): 01 Post
Age Limit (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates):
- For System Engineer (18 to 50 years as on 25.11.2026): Born not earlier than 26.11.1976 and not later than 25.11.2008. (both dates inclusive)
- For Maintenance Engineer (Junior) (18 to 40 years as on 25.11.2026): Born not earlier than 26.11.1986 and not later than 25.11.2008. (both dates inclusive)
- For Other Posts (18 to 32 years as on 25.11.2026): Born not earlier than 26.11.1994 and not later than 25.11.2008. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification:
- For Workshop Attendant: Certificate from ITI in Electrician / Plumber / Fitter / Welder / Wireman + 1 year experience
- For Laboratory Attendant: Intermediate (10+2) passed with Science + 6 months Computer Certificate
- For AC Operator: Certificate from ITI in RAC + 2 years experience operating AC Plants
- For Computer Operator Grade – I: B.Sc in Computer Science / BCA with 55% marks OR B.Sc with 55% marks + PGDCA
- For System Engineer: M.Tech / M.E. / M.S. in CS / IT / ECE with 55% marks + 5 years of experience OR B.Tech / B.E. in CS / IT / ECE or MCA or M.Sc in CS with 55% marks + 7 years of experience OR M.Sc in CS / IT with 55% marks + 8 years of experience in Server / Storage / Linux / Unix / Databases and Networks
- For Maintenance Engineer (Junior): B.E. / B.Tech in ECE / CSE with 55% + 5 years experience in Computer Network Administration / Hardware / UPS Systems and Central AC plants
Fees:
- For System Engineer and Maintenance Engineer (Junior): Rs. 1000/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates.
- For Other Posts: Rs. 500/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates.
- There is no fees for SC / ST / PwBD / Female candidates.
- Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Workshop Attendant, Laboratory Attendant, AC Operator, Computer Operator, System Engineer and Maintenance Engineer in BHU Recruitment 2026 are given below:
- Written Test
- Skill Test
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Pay Scale:
- For Workshop Attendant: Rs. 18000 – Rs. 56900/-
- For Laboratory Attendant: Rs. 18000 – Rs. 56900/-
- For AC Operator: Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100/-
- For Computer Operator Grade – I: Rs. 29200 – Rs. 92300/-
- For System Engineer: Rs. 78800 – Rs. 209200/-
- For Maintenance Engineer (Junior): Rs. 56100 – Rs. 177500/-
