- General: 60 Posts
- EWS: 15 Posts
- EBC: 27 Posts
- SC: 24 Posts
- BC: 18 Posts
- BC Female: 04 Posts
- ST: 02 Posts
Age Limit (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates):
- For Male Candidates [20 to 37 years as on 01.08.2025]: Born not earlier than 02.08.1989 and not later than 01.08.2006. (both dates inclusive)
- For Female Candidates [20 to 40 years as on 01.08.2025]: Born not earlier than 02.08.1986 and not later than 01.08.2006. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any stream.
Physical Eligibility:
- For Male Candidates:
- Height: 165 Cms (160 Cms for Reserved candidates)
- Chest: 81 – 86 Cms (79 – 84 for Reserved candidates)
- For Female Candidates:
- Height: 155 Cms (155 Cms for Reserved candidates)
- Weight: 48 Kgs
Fees: Rs. 100/- for All candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Sub Inspector (General Closed Cadre) in Bihar Police Recruitment 2026 are given below:
- Preliminary Written Test
- Mains Written Test
- Physical Standards Test (PST)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
