Age Limit (18 to 28 years as on 01.01.2026): 

  • For General and OBC: Born not earlier than 01.01.1998 and not later than 01.08.2008. (both dates inclusive)
  • For SC and ST: Born not earlier than 01.01.1993 and not later than 01.08.2008. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: Matriculation (10th) Passed + Sportsman

Physical Eligibility:

  • Male:
    • Height: 170 Cms.
    • Chest: 80 – 85 Cms.
  • Female:
    • Height: 157 Cms

Fees: Rs. 100/- for General / OBC candidates and There is no fee for SC / ST / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Rifleman / Riflewomen through sports quota in Assam Rifle Recruitment 2026 are given below:

  • Physical Standard Test (PST)
  • Motor Ability Test
  • Field Trial
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination
