Name of the Post: Constable (Tradesman)

• Male: 1723 Posts
• Female: 417 Posts

Age Limit: [18 to 25 years as on Last Date]

• For General / EWS: Born not earlier than – and not later than -. (both dates inclusive)
• For OBC: Born not earlier than – and not later than -. (both dates inclusive)
• For SC / ST: Born not earlier than – and not later than -. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification:

• For Constable (Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Electrician, Pump Operator, Draughtsman, Upholster, Tinsmith): Matriculation (10th) passed with Certificate from ITI in relevant trade.
• For Constable (Washerman, Barber, Cobbler, Tailor, Sweeper, Mali, Khoji / Syce): Matriculation (10th) passed and must be proficient in respective trade.
• For Constable (Cook, Water Carrier, Waiter, Butcher): Matriculation (10th) passed with NSQF Course in Food Production / Kitchen.

Physical Eligibility:

• For Male Candidates:
  • Height: 165 cms (160 cms for ST candidates)
  • Chest: 75 – 80 cms
  • Race: 05 Kms in 24 Minutes
• For Female Candidates:
  • Height: 155 cms (148 cms for ST candidates)
  • Race: 1.6 Kms in 08 Minutes 30 Seconds

Fees: Rs. 147.20/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and Rs. 47.20/- for SC / ST / ExM / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Constable (Tradesman) in BSF Recruitment 2024 are given below:

• Physical Standards Test (PST)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Document Verification
• Trade Test
• Written Test
• Medical Examination

BSF 2140 – Constable (Tradesman) Exam Pattern 2024

• Negative Marking: No
• Duration of Exam: 02 hours

Pay Scale: Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100/-
