NEHU Shillong Recruitment 2023:- North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong (NEHU) has released a recruitment notification for filling up 154 posts of LDC, MTS, Stenographer, Statistical Assistant, Private Secretary, Assistant, Section Officer and Various Post vide Advt. No. F.5-32/Estt-I/Apptt./Vol-III/2023/2588. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from 03.11.2023 to 02.12.2023 using given link below. • Section Officer: 07 Posts
• Assistant: 05 Posts
• Professional Assistant: 01 Post
• Private Secretary: 01 Post
• Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 77 Posts
• Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): 36 Posts
• Statistical Assistant: 01 Post
• Stenographer: 19 Posts
• Semi Professional Assistant: 02 Posts
• Junior Library Assistant: 01 Post
• Library Attendant: 04 Posts

Age Limit: (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates)

• For Section Officer, Assistant, Professional Assistant and Private Secretary [18 to 35 years]: Born not earlier than 03.12.1988 and not later than 02.12.2005. (both date inclusive)
• For Other Posts [18 to 32 years]: Born not earlier than 03.12.1991 and not later than 02.12.2005. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

• For Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Bachelor Degree in any stream and should have 35 w.p.m typing speed in English / 30 w.p.m in Hindi.
• For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation (10th) Passed / Certificate from ITI.
• For Statistical Assistant: Bachelor Degree in Statistics / Mathematics with Statistics as one of the subject / Economics with Statistics as one of the subject / Commerce with Statistical as one of the subject.
• For Stenographer: Bachelor Degree in any stream and should have 35 w.p.m typing speed in English / 30 w.p.m in Hindi. English / Hindi Stenography with 80 w.p.m.
• For Semi Professional Assistant: Master Degree in Library Science and Information Science.
• For Junior Library Assistant: Bachelor Degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent and should have 30 w.p.m typing speed in English.
• For Library Attendant: Intermediate (10+2) passed with Certificate in Library Science and One year experience.
• For Other Posts: Please refer to official detail.

Fees: Rs. 500/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates, Rs. 250/- for SC / ST candidates and There is no fees for PwD /  Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of LDC, MTS, Stenographer, Statistical Assistant, Private Secretary, Assistant, Section Officer and Various Post in NEIGRIHMS Recruitment 2023 are given below:
