Age Limit:
- For Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist (Group ‘A’): Born not earlier than 02.01.1991 and not later than 01.01.2002. (both dates inclusive)
- For Other Posts: Born not earlier than 02.01.1991 and not later than 01.01.2002. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification:
- For Geologists: Master Degree in Geological Science/Geology/Applied Geology/Geo-Exploration/Mineral Exploration/Engineering Geology/Marine Geology/Earth Science and Resource Management/Oceanography and Coastal Areas Studies/Petroleum Geosciences /Petroleum Exploration/Geochemistry/Geological Technology/Geophysical Technology from a recognized University.
- For Geophysicists: M.Sc. in Physics / Applied Physics / M.Sc. (Geophysics) / Integrated M.Sc. (Exploration Geophysics) / M.Sc (Applied Geophysics) / M.Sc. (Marine Geophysics) / M.Sc. (Tech.) (Applied Geophysics) from a University.
- For Chemists: M. Sc. in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry from a University.

Fees: Rs. 200/- for General/OBC candidates and There is no fee for SC / ST / Female / PwD candidates.
Pay Scale: As per UPSC Rules.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on Written Examination and Interview/Personality Test.
