• For Librarian, Principal Scientific Officer & Superintending Engineer: Born not earlier than 17.01.1967 and not later than 16.01.2005. (both dates inclusive)
• For Deputy Registrar, Senior Scientific Officer & Senior Executive Engineer: Born not earlier than 17.01.1973 and not later than 16.01.2005. (both dates inclusive)
• For Scientific Officer, Students Activity & Sports Officer, Assistant Registrar & Medical Officer: Born not earlier than 17.01.1988 and not later than 16.01.2005. (both dates inclusive)
• For Superintendent, Technical Assistant, Junior Engineer, SAS Assistant & Library and Information Assistant: Born not earlier than 17.01.1993 and not later than 16.01.2005. (both dates inclusive)
• For Senior Assistant & Senior Technician: Born not earlier than 17.01.1990 and not later than 16.01.2005. (both dates inclusive)
• For Junior Assistant & Technician: Born not earlier than 17.01.1996 and not later than 16.01.2005. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

• For Technician & Senior Technician: Diploma in Engineering / Certificate from ITI / Intermediate (10+2) passed with 50% marks along with One year ITI Certificate / Intermediate (10+2) passed with Science with 60% marks.
• For Junior Assistant & Senior Assistant: Intermediate (10+2) passed and should have 35 w.p.m typing speed.
• For Library and Information Assistant: Bachelor Degree in any stream with Bachelor Degree in Library and Information Science.
• For SAS Assistant: Bachelor Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) and should have Sport Record.
• For Junior Engineer: B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 60% marks / Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering with 60% marks.
• For Technical Assistant: B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA with 60% marks / Three years Diploma in Engineering with 60% marks / B.Sc with 60% marks.
• For Superintendent: Bachelor Degree in any stream with 60% marks / Master Degree in any stream.

Fees: Rs. 1000/- for General / OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC / ST / EWS / PwD candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of J.E, Technical Assistant, Technician, Junior Assistant, Librarian, SAS Assistant, Superintendent & Various Post in NIT, Rourkela are given below:
