Indian Navy Group C Recruitment 2019:- Southern Naval Command, Kochi Indian Navy at INS Shivaji, INS Vasura and INS Hamla has released a recruitment notification for filling up 14 posts of MTS, Cook, Cook & Fire Engine Driver. Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed application format on or before 06.09.2019. Other details like educational qualification, age limit, selection process & how to apply are given below……

Age Limit: (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates)
- For Safaiwala (MTS – Ministerial): Born not earlier than 16.09.1992 and not later than 06.09.2001. (both dates inclusive)
- For Pest Control Worker & Cook: Born not earlier than 16.09.1994 and not later than 06.09.2001. (both dates inclusive)
- For Fire Engine Driver: Born not earlier than 16.09.1989 and not later than 06.09.2001. (both dates inclusive)
Qualification:
- For Safaiwala & Pest Control Worker: Matriculation (10th) Passed.
- For Cook: Matriculation (10th) pass and One year experience in trade.
- For Fire Engine Driver: Matriculation (10th) Passed. Three years experience of Driving Heavy Motor Vehicle.
Physical Eligibility for Fire Engine Driver:
- Height: 165 cms.
- Chest: 81.5 – 85 cms
- Weight: 50 Kgs.
Fees: There is no application fee for applicants.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on performance in the Written Test & Skill Test / Practical Test.
Pay Scale:
- For Safaiwala & Pest Control Worker: Rs. 18000 – Rs. 56900/-
- For Cook: Rs. 19900 – Rs. 63200/-
- For Fire Engine Driver: Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100/-
