UPSC National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I), 2026:- Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 157th Course, and for the 119th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 1st January, 2026 vide Advt. No. 1/2026-NDA-I. Eligible candidates can apply online from 10.12.2025 to 30.12.2025 upto – 06:00 P.M using given link below. Name of the Exam: National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy Examination (I), 2026

Indian Army	198 (10 for Female)
Indian Navy	37 (05 for Female)
Indian Air Force	114 (06 for Female)

Age Limit: Born not earlier than 01.07.2007 and not later than 01.07.2010. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification:

For Indian Army:- Intermediate (10+2) Pass/Appearing.
For Others:- Intermediate (10+2) Pass/Appearing with Physics & Mathematics.

Fees: Rs. 100/- for General candidates and There is no fee for SC / ST / Sons of JCOs / NCOs / ORs candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for NDA & NA – I Examination 2026 are given below:

Physical Eligibility:

Height:
- For Armed Forces: 157 cms. (152 cms for Gorkhas)
- For Flying Branch: 163 cms.
- 02 cms allowance in height will be given to candidates below 18 yrs at the time of examination.

UPSC NDA & NA – I 2026 Examination Pattern
