IIT BHU Recruitment 2023:- Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released a notification for filling up 64 posts of Technical Officer, Superintending Engineer, Library Superintending and Junior Technician  vide Advt. No. 03/2023-24. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from 01.12.2023 to 21.12.2023 Upto – 05:00 p.m. using given link below. Other details like educational qualification, age limit, selection process & how to apply are given below……

Total No. of the Posts: 64

Name of the Posts: 

  • Technical Officer (Group A): 13 Posts
  • Superintending Engineering (Group A): 01 Post
  • Library Superintendent (Group B): 02 Posts
  • Junior Technician (Group C): 47 Posts
  • Junior Library Superintendent (Group B): 01 Post

Age Limit (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates):

  • For Junior Library Superintendent (18 to 35 years as on 21.12.2023): Born not earlier than 22.12.1988 and not later than 21.12.2005. (both dates inclusive)
  • For Library Superintendent (18 to 38 years as on 21.12.2023): Born not earlier than 22.12.1985 and not later than 21.12.2005. (both dates inclusive)
  • For Junior Technician (18 to 27 years as on 21.12.2023): Born not earlier than 22.12.1996 and not later than 21.12.2005. (both dates inclusive)
  • For Technical Officer (18 to 45 years as on 21.12.2023): Born not earlier than 22.12.1978 and not later than 21.12.2005. (both dates inclusive)
  • For Superintending Engineer (18 to 50 years as on 21.12.2023): Born not earlier than 22.12.1973 and not later than 21.12.2005. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification:

  • For Junior Technician: Bachelor Degree in Engineering in relevant trade with 55% marks OR Diploma in Engineering in relevant trade with 55% marks along with one year experience.
  • For Technician Officer: M.Tech in relevant tradw with 55% marks along with Two years experience OR M.Sc in relevant trade with 55% marks along with Four years experience OR B.Tech in relevant trade with 55% marks along with Five years experience. 
  • For Other Posts: Please refer to official detail.

Fees: 

  • For Junior Technician: Rs. 250/- for General / EWS / OBC candidates.
  • For Other Posts: Rs. 500/- for General / EWS / OBC candidates
  • There is no fee for SC / ST / PwD / Female candidates.
  • Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Technical Officer, Superintending Engineer, Library Superintending and Junior Technician in IIT BHU Recruitment 2023 are given below:

  • Written Test
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination

Pay Scale: As per IIT-BHU rules.
