No. 02 / 2024 – GEOL. Eligible candidates can apply online from 20.09.2023 to 10.10.2023 upto – 06:00 P.M using given link below. Name of the Exam: Combined Geo Scientist Examination, 2024

• Geologist, Group A: 34 Posts
• Geophysicist, Group A: 01 Post
• Chemist, Group A: 13 Posts
• Scientist B (Hydrogeology), Group A: 04 Posts
• Scientist B (Chemical), Group A: 02 Posts
• Scientist B (Geophysics), Group A: 02 Posts

Age Limit: Born not earlier than 02.01.1992 and not later than 01.01.2003. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

• For Geologists: Master Degree in Geological Science / Geology / Applied Geology / Geo-Exploration / Mineral Exploration / Engineering Geology / Marine Geology / Earth Science and Resource Management/Oceanography and Coastal Areas Studies / Petroleum Geosciences / Petroleum Exploration/Geochemistry/Geological Technology/Geophysical Technology from a recognized University.
• For Geophysicists: M.Sc. in Physics / Applied Physics / M.Sc. (Geophysics) / Integrated M.Sc. (Exploration Geophysics) / M.Sc (Applied Geophysics) / M.Sc. (Marine Geophysics) / M.Sc. (Tech.) (Applied Geophysics) from a University.
• For Chemists: M. Sc. in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry from a University.
• For Other Posts: Please refer to Official Detail.

Fees: Rs. 200/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates. There is no fee for SC / ST / PwD / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Combined Geo Scientist Examination, 2024 through UPSC Notification 2023 are given below:

• Medical Examination
