Indian Coast Guard West Region Recruitment 2023:- Headquarters, Coast Guard Region West, Worli Sea Face P.O., Worli Colony, Mumbai has released a notification for filling up 25 posts of Engine Driver, Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG), Draughtsman, Fork Lift Operator, Store Keeper Grade – II, Welder, Lascar, Unskilled Labourer and MTS in vide Advertisement No. CGRHQ (W) / 01 / 2023. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply in prescribed application format from 05.08.2023 to 04.09.2023 upto – 05:00 P.M. using given link below.   • Engine Driver: 04 Posts
  • Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG): 04 Posts
  • Draughtsman: 01 Post
  • Fork Lift Operator: 01 Post
  • Store Keeper Grade – II: 01 Post
  • Welder (Skilled): 01 Post
  • Lascar: 08 Posts
  • Unskilled Laborer: 01 Post
  • MTS (Peon): 02 Posts
  • MTS (Sweeper): 02 Posts

Age Limit:

  • For Engine Driver and Lascar: Born not earlier than 05.09.1993 and not later than 04.09.2005. (both dates inclusive)
  • For Civilian Motor Transport (OG), Fork Lift Operator, Welder (Skilled) and MTS: Born not earlier than 05.09.1996 and not later than 04.09.2005. (both dates inclusive)
  • For Draughtsman and Store Keeper Grade – II: Born not earlier than 05.09.1998 and not later than 04.09.2005. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

  • For Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG): Matriculation (10th) passed and should have valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) and should have 2 years experience.
  • For Draughtsman:  Matriculation (10th) passed and Certificate from ITI in relevant trade.
  • For Fork Lift Operator: Certificate from ITI in relevant trade with One year experience and should have valid driving license for Heavy Duty Vehicles.
  • For Store Keeper Grade – II: Intermediate (10+2) passed with One year experience.
  • For Welder (Skilled):  Matriculation (10th) passed and Certificate from ITI in relevant trade along with One year experience.
  • For Lascar: Matriculation (10th) passed with Three years experience.
  • For Unskilled Laborer: Matriculation (10th) passed with Three years experience.
  • For MTS: Matriculation (10th) passed with Two years experience.

Fees: There is no fees for this recruitment.

Pay Scale: As per ICG Rules.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Engine Driver, Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG), Draughtsman, Fork Lift Operator, Store Keeper Grade – II, Welder, Lascar, Unskilled Labourer and MTS in Coast Guard WR HQ Group C Recruitment 2023 are given below:

  • Written Exam and / or Scrutiny of Application
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination
