Chandigarh Jail Group C Recruitment 2023:- Department of Prisons and Correctional Administration, Union Territory, Chandigarh has released a recruitment notification for filling up 173 posts of Warder, Pharmacist, Head Warder, Welder, Driver, MTS & Various Post vide Advt. No. 01 / 2023. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from Last Week of July, 2023 / August, 2023 to August, 2023 / September, 2023 using given link below. Name of the Posts:

• Welder: 130 Posts
• Pharmacist: 05 Posts
• Head Warder: 26 Posts
• Master in Tailoring and Embroidery: 01 Post
• Welder Master: 01 Post
• Polish Master: 02 Posts
• Carpenter Master: 02 Posts
• Driver: 01 Post
• Electrician: 01 Post
• Store Keeper: 01 Post
• Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): 03 Posts

Age Limit (18 to 25 years):

• For General / EWS: Born not earlier than – and not later than -. (both dates inclusive)
• For OBC: Born not earlier than – and not later than -. (both dates inclusive)
• For SC / ST: Born not earlier than – and not later than -. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

• For Warder: Intermediate (10+2) passed. ICT Course Passed.
• For Pharmacist: Bachelor Degree in Pharmaceutical Science / B.Pharmacy OR Diploma in Pharmacy. ICT Course Passed.
• For Head Warder: 5 years of Regular Service.
• For Master in Tailoring and Embroidery: Matriculation (10th) Passed with Certificate in Tailoring / Embroidery / Sewing Technology / Dress Making. ICT Course Passed.
• For Welder Master, Electrician and Carpenter Master: Matriculation (10th) passed with Certificate from ITI in relevant trade. ICT Course Passed.
• For Driver: Intermediate (10+2) passed and should have driving license for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) / Light Transport Vehicle (LTV).
• For Store Keeper: Intermediate (10+2) passed. ICT Course Passed.
• For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation (10th) passed. ICT Course Passed.

Fees: Rs. – for General / OBC / EWS candidates and Rs. – for SC / ST / PwD / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Warder, Pharmacist, Head Warder, Welder, Driver, MTS & Various Post in Chandigarh Jail Recruitment 2023 are given below:

• Medical Examination

• For Head Warder: Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100/-
• For Master in Tailoring and Embroidery: Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100/-
• For Welder Master: Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100/-
• For Polish Master: Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100/-
• For Carpenter Master: Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100/-
• For Driver: Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100/-
• For Electrician: Rs. 19900 – Rs. 63200/-
• For Store Keeper: Rs. 19900 – Rs. 63200/-
• For Warder: Rs. 19900 – Rs. 63200/-
• For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Rs. 29200 – Rs. 92300/-
